Hold Still

Click here and choose Hold Still.
Go and watch this music video NOW. It's an order.

I just love David Fonseca, his voice, his songs, his latest album and this song in particular. I also love black and white photography, music videos and the city of London. That's why I want everyone to see this amazing video.

It's a beautifully edited sequence of stills by photographer Augusto Brazio, that speaks about two strangers that live and work in London. As with any good music video, it adds a new dimension to the song. The singer, who co-directed the video, said that the story asked to be filmed in a big city, and the essence of London day-to-day life was captured perfectly: that coming and going full of routines and repeated gestures of people that are sometimes too busy to enjoy how beautiful this place really is.

David Fonseca is a portuguese singer-songwriter worthy of being an international superstar. There isn't even a language barrier, as he sings in english. His website is soon going to have an english version, so I'll let you know about it as soon as it is online.

For now, I think I'm going to watch this one... yet again.

about...

Patrícia Furtado is a freelance graphic and web designer, working from her small studio in London. You can appreciate her work by visiting the portfolio at pap-L.com.

Favourite Things is her more personal corner of the web, putting together an assortment of news, links, reviews and even recipes in a cute magazine-ish form.

And yes, her favourite colour is pink, and she is not embarrassed about it!! The Sound of Music is not her favourite movie, though... not anymore.

acacio jeremias website

The great visionary Acácio Jeremias finally has a website of his own and it was designed by pap-L. Acácio is a hillarious character (born out of the twisted mind of Diz Que Disse's creator, André Toscano) intent on asking the questions no one has ever though about. While we wait for his book to come out, we can enjoy his video-podcasts (the title and credit sequences were designed by pap-L as well). The first one is just out, and a few more are on the way. So go there and have a laugh! (Sorry, portuguese only...)
