from Warsaw with love
I'm ashamed to confess I haven't been in touch with some of my friends in recent times. So when I decided to check out my friend Josée's website to see what she'd been up to lately, I was surprised by this very interesting project that had been going on since January.
Josée Pedneault is a visual artist from Quebec, working with photography/video/sound installations and she is currently in Warsaw, Poland, finishing a artist-in-residence program. The work produced will be object of the upcoming exhibition The conspiracy of the birds & other unexpected events, opening on the 21st of April. from Warsaw with love is a web-based art project in collaboration with Montreal photographer Christophe Collette. It's an image based conversation between the two of them, where an image is added every day. Unfortunately, it's scheduled to finish on the 24th of April, so I caught it right in the end, but the result is a beautiful sequenced collection of images.
